Martha Pillow worked as the Children’s/Young Adult librarian for the Hollywood Branch of the Memphis/Shelby County (Tennessee) Public Library and Information Center before moving to Virginia.  She has served as Member-At-Large and as the Second Vice President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Roanoke Valley.  Martha is an In Our Own Voice presenter for that organization.  She currently acts as Secretary on the Roanoke Valley Local Human Rights Committee.
