Meetings of Board committees are usually conducted via electronic means. Meetings of the full Board may be in-person, virtual, or hybrid, depending on different factors. Meetings are open to the public unless the Board or Committee votes to go into closed session for a specific reason. Who We Are

The disAbility Law Center of Virginia (dLCV) is Virginia’s Protection and Advocacy Center. We became a nonprofit organization in 2013—which means we rely on an active and motivated Board of Directors to meet our mission!

The dLCV Governing Board is the principal governing body of the agency. Board members act as ambassadors of the agency and provide direction to the Executive Director through policies, strategic planning, and the budget.
